The Tories are in Manchester for their annual conference from 29th September 2019 and we are asking for your support for a huge national demonstration in protest against their policies.
The Tories have wreaked havoc upon our precious public services (including our NHS) and welfare state. Moreover, they have attacked our union rights and undermined workers’ pay, terms and conditions. They are vicious and we know they will continue to put profits before people and devastate all our hard won protections. Unbelievably, their conference will be held on the site of Peters Fields where the Peterloo Massacre occurred.
For all these reasons and more, we’re organising what we hope will be a huge National Demonstration on Sunday 29/9/19 (as well as a series of events, talks, films etc) and we need the help of our unions.
UNISON PENNINE CARE BRANCH will be meeting at the entrance to Saints park on Cavendish St at 11.30. Look for our Banner and come and march with us.
