Thank you to all our members who came to our aggregate Annual General Meetings this year – 39 people came along in total which was an increase on the previous year.
Meetings were held throughout March in Oldham, Bury, Ashton, Rochdale and Stockport. Members discussed a number of issues with branch officers, including pensions, violence at work, Pennine Care consultations and reorganisations and many local issues.
Over the course of the AGMs, we have also recruited 5 new UNISON representatives who will now go on to receive training and mentoring before being equipped to represent members and make a real difference in their workplace.
